My favorite reruns to watch during the summer on my Satellite TV is the Vampire Diaries. There are many vampire shows out there lately, but this one is most definitely my favorite. Right now they are only showing reruns because the second season doesn’t start until September. Two vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, are in love with the same woman, Elena, and are constantly at battle with each other. Their issues go back to when they were in love with the same girl in 1864 and piece by piece, Elena is filled in on what happened during this time. Towards the end of the season, Stefan is tortured by vampires that hated him in the past and when Elena and Damon come to save him, Stefan has to drink some of Elena’s blood to stay alive. Since Stefan only drinks animal blood, this causes him some major trouble and finds himself unable to control his urges. After a very emotional episode, he is able to return to his animal diet and continue with his relationship with Elena. This show is so addicting that every Thursday, I find myself turning to the CW channel to watch the Vampire Diaries reruns. Every time I watch a rerun, I catch something I didn’t see before. I love how different this show is from the other vampire shows.
