Manchester City is my favorite team . I watch my favorite professional team on cheap satellite tv, week in and week out. You may wonder why I’m a Man City fan? I’ll tell you in a little while.

I have been following Man City for a few years. They are my favorite team because they are nicknamed the citizens. They represent the people, and city of Manchester. No I am not one of those people that have become a city fan because of their big money purchases or wealth that they get from their wealthy owner. I like Man City because of their motto, what they stand for, and it’s fans. Man City has loyal fans who have bared the worst and have tasted a bit of success lately.

I remember Man City was in danger of being relegated at one time, but managed to avoid it safely during the end of the season. I was an avid supporter back then. I stayed with my team and the players. The coaches have gone and gone and so have players, but the fans remain loyal and true. Yes there are some recent fans, that are sellouts, but I am a true and die hard fan of City. Whether we have Tevez or not the City of Manchester Stadium will always hold a special place in my heart.

We all have heard of the harmful effects stress can have on our lives. Although we can never totally eliminate stress we must be able to manage stress, and find stress relief, especially the prolonged stress which will indeed cause many ill effects on your health.

In many ways we can eliminate much of our stress by the way we perceive things. There are many things in life in which we have little or no control over. If the situation is out of our control we would be better off just accepting it for what it is and focus our attention on something more pleasant or something that will enhance our day and our lives.

The body reacts to stress by producing a flood of chemicals that shut down important but not vital functions to survival. This constant supply of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline and the suppression of growth hormones and other healing hormones that help your body heal after stress, will damage your body and have a negative effect on your health over time.

Some ways you can control the amount of stress you encounter is to monitor a few things about the so called stressful situation you are in. Firstly ask yourself, am I in control of the situation that is upon me. Like I said earlier if the situation is beyond your control you must let it go. If there is something you can do about the situation then you must be in action and do something to resolve it
